Former Leo Burnett Sydney EP Bill Doig joins OTTO’s Sydney office as executive producer

The OTTO Empire has announced the introduction of Bill Doig as the company’s newest executive producer, heading up OTTO’s Sydney office.

Hailed as one of the country’s finest collaborative creative producers, Doig joins OTTO after 18 years in advertising agencies locally and abroad, starting his career at Leo Burnett before heading to London to work at Leo’s and Bates UK, then returning to Saatchi & Saatchi in Sydney, before signing up with Crispin Porter & Bogusky in both the US and Europe. Most recently he was EP leading the team at Leo Burnett Sydney.

Doig’s approach has always been to lead strong work, and foster the development of production DNA through integration, a philosophy that is reflected in the many accolades and awards he has helped to win over his stellar career.

Says Doig: “I answered an ad in the paper for a dog walker for a cool lady with two black poodles, and after a few emails, several coffees and a few lunches, that evolved into a producing job working with a fantastic bunch of clever people. Great fit, great vision and great collaboration. I’m thrilled to join OTTO.”
