News Corp Australia opens call for entries for the 2015 Cannes Young Lions comp; deadline April 9

News Corp Australia, the official representative of the Cannes Festival of Creativity in Australia has today opened entries of the 2015 Cannes Young Lions competition.

The competition, which closes on 9 April is open to anyone under the age of 28. Entry to the marketing category is open to anyone under 30. Registration costs $75 +GST.

Now in its seventh year, the competition searches for the best young talent in media, marketing, digital, film and print to represent at Australia at the 2015 Festival of Creativity in Cannes, France.

To enter, participants must develop a creative solution, media or marketing strategy for a live brief provided by each category sponsors in film, digital, media, print and marketing.

Entrants will be judged by a panel of industry specialists with media and marketing finalists flying to Sydney to compete in a  second-round 24 hour brief. Film finalists compete in a 48 hour brief.

The 62nd Cannes International Festival of Creativity is being held from 21-27 June, 2015.
