The Greens launches new TV commercial ahead of the NSW election via Republic of Everyone

Screen Shot 2015-03-24 at 6.41.19 am.jpgContinuing its relationship with the Greens that started thanks to the Gruen Transfer, Republic of Everyone has launched a new TV ad for the NSW election.

Kicking the trend for political ads, which are usually research-driven affairs featuring a leader delivering a series of tick box policies standing, the ad instead turns the camera on the voter.

Says Ben Peacock, founder, Republic of Everyone: “When the Greens asked recent volunteers why they had chosen to give their time for free, one answer kept coming back loud and clear. They got sick of yelling at the TV.”

Says Giles Kershaw, creative director, Republic of Everyone: “After we learned that, the ad pretty much wrote itself.”

The ad will run in marginal electorates and on YouTube in the lead up to the election.
