Aussie start-up news platform Newzulu signs global partnership agreement with Getty Images

­Newzulu-site.jpgPublicly listed Aussie start-up Newzulu Limited, the ground-breaking news platform with a community of over 100,000 professional and citizen journalists, has entered a strategic partnership and content syndication agreement with Getty Images, the world¹s leading visual communications company. The partnership will include the creation of the Newzulu Collection on gettyimages.com, which will make Newzulu’s high-quality, crowd-sourced content available to Getty Images’ global customer base of more than 1.5 million media, creative and commercial customers, with a focus on the USA and other territories worldwide.

The agreement presents a great opportunity for Newzulu and its contributors as the Getty Images platform delivers immediate access to the robust USA content market, via its leading distribution platform. Newzulu contributors can submit and earn royalties for videos and Newzulu Live video streams.

 

The partnership includes distribution and licensing of Newzulu content from Getty Images on both an exclusive and non-exclusive basis, with a focus on high-quality, crowd-sourced video, including videos sourced from Newzulu Live mobile video streaming.
