Publicis CUBED has held the account for several years but due to the contract period ending, a competitive pitch was conducted.

Says Jamie McDonald, newly appointed director of marketing, advancement & community engagement: “Publicis CUBED did a terrific job to launch and establish the FedUni brand across Victoria and with our international partners.

“However, we recognised a need for fresh thinking. CUBED came back with excellent strategic insight and creative that positions us well for the ongoing growth of FedUni.

“The team from CUBED bring energy and innovation to our brand and a great understanding of the higher education sector and Federation University Australia. We are very excited to be partnering with them for the years to come.”

Says Mike Chuter, managing director of Publicis CUBED: “We are simply delighted to be renewing our relationship with FedUni. We were very proud of the existing partnership but had our backs to the wall with the release of the tender that called for change. Being part of the Publicis Group, we are now able to provide significantly more services and we’re excited about our future together.”

The contract which covers brand, advertising and marketing communications is effective immediately.
