FF_PIC_ZOO.jpgAfter months of scouring the country, ZOO Group has snagged experienced head of operations, Fleur Farrington back from Melbourne for a pivotal role in its Sydney agency.

Farrington has a history of hands-on agency experience that stretches from BBH and Emperor Design in London, through to studio manager at EURO RSCG Sydney (now Havas Worldwide Sydney), where she spent 3-years totally transforming the production facilities. In her 7 years as creative services manager at Spin Communications she worked on Fashion Week and Tropfest amongst other notable clients.

After stints at shopper marketing experts, Evocatif and Doppio Design, the multi-disciplined Farrington moved to Melbourne, where she was head of studio, production and traffic at Clemenger shopper marketing arm, The Marketing Shop, before heading back to Sydney.

Says Simon Cubbin, founder and managing director, ZOO Sydney: ”We’re delighted to get someone of Fleur’s calibre for the Sydney office. She knows the agency and production world inside out, and she knows how to get the best out of the people around her.”

Says Mark Lees, Sydney ECD: ”There’s a fantastic creative and collaborative culture here – one that our client’s genuinely like working with. As ZOO rapidly expands in Sydney and as a Group, it’s my job to ensure that our culture and creativity, the things that make us different, are properly protected. Fleur’s here to help me do that.”

Farrington has her work cut out for her, as the ZOO team have won some major accounts in the past 6 months, producing an exciting variety of creative and effective work for CSR Cemintel, Flick Anticimex, Wilderness Australia, Vanuatu Tourism and Ricoh IT Services.

Says Cubbin: ”This year is getting bigger and better for us. Fleur’s exactly the kind of person we need to help keep us all on track.”
