BLOKE hires Rocky Ranallo as a creative consultant and copywriter Jermaine Rowe

Independent Sydney-based Creative Agency, BLOKE, has bolstered its growing team with legendary creative, Rocky Ranallo (right), and industry rising star copywriter, Jermaine Rowe (left).

A well-known personality in the creative industry, Ranallo joins BLOKE as a creative consultant after retiring from his creative director role at BWM in 2013. He is a multi-award winning creative with over 40 years experience in the industry.

Says Mike O’Rourke, creative partner, BLOKE: “Rocky has always been a mentor of mine and it is a great honour to have his enormous experience in the creative department as the agency grows.”

Says Ranallo: “I’m extremely excited to consult for BLOKE. They are a very smart bunch of men and women, and I’ll be delighted when they become millionaires.”

Ranallo is joined by Rowe, a London-born copywriter with over 7 years industry experience in both Australia and Europe. He’s previously written for brands such as Google, Lexus, Aeroguard and Optus, and his work for NRMA was recently featured in Directory Magazine.

Says O’Rourke: “Jermaine has wonderful experience with digital and socially integrated campaigns and we’re excited to see what he can do with our expanding client base.”

Now with a staff of 12, BLOKE is growing into one of the industry’s exciting new boutique agencies. Its recent success has seen them create campaigns for prestigious clients including Scenic Tours, Mt Hotham Ski Resort and McGuigan Wines.
