PremierMore than 100,000 Victorians have just enjoyed a very active April as a result of the latest Premier’s Active April campaign via creative agency Grant Day James.

Now in its seventh year, Premier’s Active April is an initiative of the Victorian State Government and aims to inspire Victorians to get more active by encouraging physical activity every day throughout April.

Creative_PremierOther agencies contributing to the campaign apart from Grant Day James include Clockwork Projects & Events and Spark Communications.

The project scope for Grant Day James was significant; overseeing a rebrand of the former Premier’s Active Families Challenge to appeal to the wider community and the development of key campaign collateral, including the official website, official web app and all Premier’s Active April online, radio and print advertising.

Says Cathy Grant, general manager, Grant Day James: “We are very proud to have partnered with Sport and Recreation Victoria for the second year, working collaboratively to create and deliver an impactful campaign that really resonated with the Victorian community.”

A total of over 100,000 Victorians participated in this year’s campaign – exceeding the initial campaign target and representing an increase of 7 percent on last year.

Says Phil Jones, physical activity manager, Sport and Recreation Victoria: “We’ve been extremely pleased with the work of Grant Day James and the relationship we have built with the team. The agency demonstrates an excellent understanding of the brief and has played a key role in the continued success of the Premier’s Active April campaign.”
