ADMA QLD 30Below hosts event on innovation for young marketers at 6pm, July 1 at Miss Kay’s

Young marketers and advertisers wanting to know more about innovation in business, brand, digital and product, can learn from three experts speaking at the next ADMA Queensland 30Below networking night. The action takes place Wednesday, 1 July 2015 at Miss Kay’s, 185 George Street, Brisbane from 6.00pm. Tickets cost $35 which includes two drinks and canapés.

The speakers will be:   

•    Brett Milne (above, left), group manager-retail customer experience and marketing, Ergon Energy

•    Matt Kowal (top, right), global solutions strategy director, Guvera

•    Dr Michael Rosemann (bottom, right), professor and head of the information systems school, science and engineering faculty, Queensland University of Technology.

Milne has an extensive background in marketing, customer service and commercialisation within a range of industries and held a number of senior marketing, customer service and product development roles within Ergon, Telstra and AAPT. Milne has also developed customer service activities for a range of businesses in Africa, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He is passionate about creating value, improving productivity and reducing customer effort through collaboration and enabling an organisation to release the capabilities of its most valuable resource: its people.

Kowal is a senior marketing specialist drawing from strong operations, brand and management experience in both the Southern and Northern Hemisphere. Transitioning from a marketing director role for EMEA with Monster Energy, Kowal has taken on the position of global solutions strategy director at Guvera, responsible for delivering integrated solutions for commercial partners and clients. Founded in 2008, the international award-winning music streaming service provides consumers with unlimited access to local and international music in a way that supports the artists and record labels responsible for producing it.

Dr Rosemann is a disruptive thinker with a digital mind and a passion for corporate innovation, revenue resilience, process design and research management. His work is focused on creating exciting future worlds with today’s possibilities that make current practices obsolete. His current areas of interest are data markets and foresight innovation, and deriving value from communities, innovation systems and effective university-industry relationships.

Rosemann regularly provides advice related to performance, innovation and process management to organisations and their executives from diverse industries including telcos, banking, insurance, utilities, retail, the public sector, higher education and the film industry. Rosemann is the author/editor of seven books and more than 250 refereed paper. He is also an editorial board member of 10 international journals and co-inventor of two US patents.
