Dimmi makes tablecloths talk in brand new outdoor campaign via The Change• Community
Australian online restaurant reservation website Dimmi has launched its first ever outdoor advertising campaign via The Change• Community, as part of the broader ‘Reserve the moment’ brand campaign that was established earlier this year.
The unique usergenerated campaign, a first of its kind in Australia, showcases 53 individual tablecloths on which diners handwrote the special moments they were celebrating at restaurants around the country. Each tablecloth has then been used as the creative to give a very real and personal insight into the role that Dimmi plays in inspiring millions of dining moments each year.
The moments are vast and varied ranging from first dates and graduation dinners, to business deals and promotions, girly catch ups and baby announcements.
Home to over 500,000 verified dining reviews the largest of its kind in Australia, Dimmi is thrilled to let Aussie diners do the talking.
Says Stevan Premutico, CEO and founder of Dimmi: “We’re excited to unveil our first ever advertising campaign. It highlights exactly why Dimmi exists to inspire more memorable moments around the dining table. We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created.
“It’s just beautiful to read all the different handwritten notes. These moments become memories that stay with people for a lifetime and it’s great that Dimmi has played a role making them happen. It’s magic.”
The campaign will appear in Sydney and Melbourne in June, with further rollouts in major cities around Australia expected later in the year.
Guy Rooke, founder and ideas director of the conscious communications and ideas company The Change• Community: “There’s something very powerful about consumers talking to consumers as opposed to the brand talking to consumers. And in the case of this customergenerated outdoor campaign, that’s exactly what we’re allowing to happen.”
The first outdoor campaign showcases some of the many moments that Dimmi helps to inspire, by connecting diners with the ‘right’ restaurants through their online booking system.
