Pause_by_Oli-Sansom-0013 (1).jpgAustralia’s premier digital event is now open to expressions of interest for its 2016 iteration.

Now in its 6th year, Pause Fest will run for a whole week from Monday 8 February to Sunday 14 February 2016, in and around Melbourne’s Fed Square. Our 2016 theme is #PauseDiscover – meet your future self.

Created to explore and develop the best in creativity, tech and digital, and the interactions between them, Pause Fest likes to say its programme is made up of ‘content you can’t Google’.

Since 2011 Pause Fest has been working with cultural and tech leaders such as Deloitte Digital, Vimeo, Paypal, BSchool and This American Life. Boundaries are pushed, inspiration blooms and collaboration goes wild.

Says George Hedon, founder, Pause Fest: “Pause Fest is based on the principal that innovation happens when different realities and skill sets collide. We create that space.”

Pause Fest is looking for those who want to be part of supporting and developing the tech and digital community locally and internationally. Who want to be a part of building the world’s future economy.

The remit is wide, both in terms of the organization or individual, and the involvement. Are you a global brand looking to discover and recruit the best digital creatives and thinkers? Partner with us. A startup that believes they can change the world? A digital executive with a passion for experimentation? Suggest an event. Pause Fest has worked and played with studios, geeks, academics, bands, community groups, government and household names – if you have an idea, a product, a brand or provocation that you think should and could be a part of the Pause story, Pause Fest wants to hear about it.

Pause has doubled its capacity every year and 2016 offers the chance to share our stage with Startup Victoria, Designworks, Bschool, Guardian Australia, DT Digital, Art Centre Melbourne, Tractor and auDA. Pause is where the Next Big Thing happens. Don’t miss it.
