Innocean Australia, Mnet and Initiative score Silver at 2015 CLIO Sports for Kia ‘Game On’

Mnet 3-thumb-400x257-162369.jpgCLIO Sports, the esteemed international competition honoring creative excellence in sports, has today announced its list of Gold, Silver and Bronze winners, along with the shortlist, in advance of the second-annual event set for July 8 in New York City.

Kia Australia’s ‘Game On’ app via Innocean Australia, Mnet and Initiative was the only Australian campaign to pick up a Silver Award in Digital. Cummins&Partners Melbourne scored a Bronze for Tennis Australia’s ‘Get Closer to the Action’ in the Radio category and CHE Proximity Melbourne picked up a Bronze in Film for ICC Cricket World Cup’s ‘Greatness is Contagious’.

Grand winners will be announced live at the CLIO Sports Awards, and are selected from the Gold winners in each medium if the jury, comprised of creative experts from sports marketing, has determined that one entry is deserving of this prestigious best-in-show honor.

This year, our winners represent some of the most powerful and touching creative, from Gatorade’s ‘Win From Within: Ben Jackson’ to Guinness’ ‘Barnes Sisters’.

Some of the notable international agencies receiving a Gold CLIO Sports award include Africa for Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas’s ‘Inverted Jersey’; Forsman & Bodefors for United Nations World Food Programme’s ‘805 Million Names’; and Rethink for Molson Canadian’s ‘Hockey Heaven’. 

Agency winners showcasing sports around the world include Blink Digital for Pro Kabaddi League’s ‘Star Sports’; CHE Proximity Melbourne for ICC Cricket World Cup’s ‘Greatness is Contagious’; and in the student category, Miami Ad School for AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship’s ‘Women’s Boxing Championship, Glove Corset’.

The top agencies/companies receiving multiple CLIO Sports awards include, R/GA with a total of 19 wins, ESPN with a total of 13 wins; and Innocean USA and BBDO New York, each with seven wins this year.
