Leo Burnett Melbourne scores three FAB Awards at the 17th annual FAB Awards held in London

ffc08_0001.jpgThe 17th Annual International Food and Beverage Creative Excellence Awards (The FAB Awards) were held last night at the quintessentially British – The Hurlingham Club in London.

The black tie and posh frocks affair was held in honour of the nominees and winners of The 17th FAB Awards, which recognises outstanding creative work done for the global Food and Beverage Industry. Leo Burnett Melbourne was the only Australian agency to score FAB Awards.

Leo Burnett Melbourne scored three FAB Awards; one for Maxibon ‘Maxibon Hangryman’ in the Sales Promotion category and two for Slurpee ‘Slurpee Xpandinator’ in Sales Promotion and Advertising Effectiveness categories.

The night’s big (FABulous Awards) winners were as follows:

•    DIA – Novelized Recipes by Leo Burnett, Madrid

•    Lidl Private Label Milk – Bosse’s Milk by INGO, Stockholm

FABulous Award across Interactive, Online, Digital & Best use of Media

•    Pepsi Max – Unbelievable Bus Shelter by AMV BBDO, London

AMV BBDO was named The Google FAB Agency of The Year, winning a phenomenal fourteen nominations across the various categories, bagging ten FABs and three FABulous Awards on the night.

Mars, Incorporated went home with The Google FAB Brand / Marketer of The Year Award, after bagging a phenomenal 16 nominations across the various categories and winning seven FABs and two FABulous Awards on the night.

The confectionery giants were recognized for multiple projects done in markets around the world, including USA, UK, Canada and the UAE.
