The Pixel Kitchen undergoes rebrand; drops the ‘Kitchen’ and the ‘The’ – introducing Pixel

PIXEl Green_01 (1).jpgThe folks at creative-super-mega-powerhouse-creative-studio-thing, The Pixel Kitchen, are high five’n and dancing a merry jig over their rebrand. Now simply known as “Pixel” they look forward to receiving only post related enquiries and none regarding kitchen cabinetry.

Says John Gavin, director: “It’s more than just high fives and a new business name, the rebrand represents a bit of a new direction for us as well. We’re narrowing our focus and will be spending more time in the animation and design space. We take great care with the work we do and this extra focus will ensure we continue to push boundaries and produce even better results.”

Along with the name change comes a new look for the company, an updated website and collaboration with fancy pants colourist CJ Dobson.

Says Dobson: “I’m really excited about teaming up with my Pixel pals and offering clients their space for grades. The suite is all setup and purring like a black, tube shaped, 12-core powered kitten.”

Whilst in the thick of this re-brand extravaganza, Pixel has also been busily working on a couple of new projects. They recently crafted a 24 metre long (not so miniature) miniature for the Officeworks ‘Happy Tax Place‘ spot for AJF, as well as a 3D animated spot for Public Transport Victoria’s ‘Transform‘ campaign for GPY&R. All available to view on their site – pixel.melbourne.

The guys and gals at Pixel are really grateful for all of the love and support in what will now forever be known as the “kitchen” era and are excitedly looking forward to their sleek, duo-syllabic future ahead.
