Suz-Amy-John-AnalogFolk (1).jpgIndependent digital marketing agency AnalogFolk continues to bolster its content marketing business, appointing its first audience and influence director Amy Broadfoor and editor John Agnew.

In the newly created role, Broadfoot joins AnalogFolk to manage audience development and increase the influence for the brands it works with through media. Working closely with editor-in-chief Suz Tucker she will manage media, partnerships, influencer programs, search and PR for the growing list of clients turning to the agency for content creation.

Broadfoot was the former national content director at Australia’s largest search agency, Columbus and has held content creation and strategy roles at Infinity Squared and Hatched. She also sits on ADMA’s Expert Community for Content Marketing.

In addition Agnew joins as editor. Prior to AnalogFolk he was online editor at GQ.com.au and has also worked at Bauer Media and was senior writer at alternative surfing title Movement Magazine for six years.

The addition of Broadfoot and Agnew brings the content marketing team to nine at the 35 strong agency.

Says Matt Robinson, partner and managing director of AnalogFolk Sydney: “We have invested significantly to create a multidisciplinary group of producers, writers, video editors and data specialists. With Amy on board we have now added significantly to our ability to amplify and maximise the great content we’re producing. She’ll work hand-in-hand with our editor-in-chief to help deliver even better audience engagement for our clients.”

AnalogFolk creates platforms, content and campaigns for clients such as Pernod Ricard brands, Jacobs Creek, Absolut Vodka, The a2 Milk Company, HotelClub, Fox Sports, Freedom Foods and Canon.

Founded in London in 2008, AnalogFolk opened in Sydney in 2011, where B&T named the office ‘Emerging Agency of the Year’ the following year. In 2013, AnalogFolk opened in New York and at the start of 2015 boosted the US offering with the opening of a Portland office. Earlier this month it established a second APAC office in Hong Kong.
