Ant McPhail joins Rabbit’s roster of directors

ANT MCPHAIL (1).jpgRabbit has announced that director Ant McPhail has joined the company’s roster of directors.

McPhail’s multi-disciplinary style includes high-end visuals, design, visual narrative as well as documentary style. Above all else, McPhail has an incredible eye for beauty and detail that this evident in all of his work.

A quiet achiever, McPhail’s talent has been recognised through a slew of industry awards, including Adfest, Cannes Short Film Corner Official Selection and a Cannes Silver Lion. His work has been commended by the likes of Marc Newson and his video art has been displayed at the Art Gallery of NSW. Ant also directed the title sequence for ABC comedy TV series, Soul Mates.

Says Alex Hay, co-EP of Rabbit: “I have worked with Ant for a long time now; he directed spots when I was agency side, and I have also produced for him many times. Every time we work together he always surprises me with what he manages to bring to a project. He has the most incredible eye for beautiful visuals and he adds value at every point. I’m thrilled that we have been able to secure Ant for our roster.”

McPhail recently wrapped a Telstra campaign with The Monkeys. His body of work also includes commercials for Qantas, McDonalds, LG, HCF, Coca-Cola, Frucor, MySpace, Oyster Magazine, Nivea and Commbank.
