Good for Nothing movement launches global gig series; Sydney chapter to hold series on Aug 1st

GFN Sydney Jam.jpgThe Sydney chapter of the global Good For Nothing movement is calling on local marketers to get out of the cold and join them for the first-ever global gig series.

All 40 chapters around the globe – from Stockholm to São Paulo to Singapore to Sydney – will be in action over the same two-week period with the Sydney event, taking place on Saturday 1 August, 2015.

This time around, the Sydney Good For Nothing chapter will focus on a non-profit called Our Stories. An engaging 8-week autobiography course for seniors, the concept draws on elements commonly used in reminiscence therapy.

This impactful (and heartwarming) day aims to work on a website, an app and branding for Our Stories, using Good For Nothing’s hack-a-thon style structure, void of rules and silos.

The Good for Nothing team is subsequently on the hunt for designers, developers, UX designers, writers and mobile/app geniuses to work together on this rapid development for good.
