Mr. Smith’s directors Peter Carstairs + Curtis Hill shoot new ‘Hallelujah’ video for The Rubens

Mr. Smith directors Peter Carstairs and Curtis Hill have teamed up for the first time to co-direct a music video for ‘Hallelujah’, the first track off The Rubens’ much anticipated second album ‘Hoops’, to be released this week.

The video depicts a mesmerising performance from Sydney dancer Martin del Amo that’s choreographed around a striking location and is beautifully photographed in one take by Shelley Farthing-Dawe.

Mr Smith’s roster of directors regularly collaborate in the creative process across TVCs, content, music promos, short films and longer form film projects but ‘Hallelujah’ is the first time an on-set directing partnership has been formed.
