jack + bill last year called an open pitch from crowdfunders using Pozible, with a panel of judges and a crowd on-site choosing three outstanding projects for jack + bill to support with pro bono PR services.

“Says Peter Kent, chief executive, Porter Novelli: “We’re pleased to say all three projects from 2014 – Melbourne Bike Cabs, Foster Care Association Victoria and Bamboo Monkey – achieved their crowdfunding targets, and we’re even more pleased that jack + bill was able to help them get where they needed to be.

jack + bill launched Thursday night with presentations from last year’s campaigns and a call-out for three crowdfunding projects in Melbourne and one in Sydney wanting pro bono support to achieve their Pozible goals. The event was supported by Hither & Yon Winery and Coopers Brewery.

Says Kent: “jack + bill is an important part of the Porter Novelli Australia commitment to community, to innovation, and to providing our own people with unique opportunities to stretch and learn.”

Pozible co-founder and director Rich Chen said he was delighted to continue the Porter Novelli partnership.

Says Chen: “Crafting and communicating the story behind a project can help take a crowdfunding campaign miles further.

“Since 2010, Pozible has hosted more than 9200 projects, distributing more that AUD 38 million to successful campaigns. These campaigns have enriched our community through social enterprise, film, the arts, journalism and many more innovative ideas. We are continually working with crowdfunders to find ways to help them effectively communicate their projects.”

jack + bill applications are now open and close on Friday 21 August at 5pm, with four winning projects to be announced on Friday 28 August 2015.

Nominated campaign will be assessed based on originality, unique vision and benefit to community.

jack + bill is led by co-founding member Mandy Griffiths, alongside Porter Novelli’s own emerging talent including Katie Sheppet, Kevin Daly, Candice Lever, Chanelle Shibata, Nicole Henden, Josh Oakley, Caitlin Thompson, Ashton Debono and David Collins in Melbourne and in Sydney, Clare Beatty, Kristine Arnott, Thanh Nguyen and Shailo Rasanayakam.
