Coopers Dark Ale encourages Aussies to enjoy an extra hour of dark in latest campaign via kwp!

Coopers Dark Ale is a beer that is usually consumed when the days start to get darker and colder.
In a new web film and print execution created by kwp! Advertising, Coopers has used a timely Daylight Savings reminder to get consumers thinking about drinking Dark Ale again; building Dark Ale’s association with ‘the dark’ and helping to establish Dark Ale as the seasons ale of choice.

Nice.
Nice, pure, simple well executed idea.
Does feel a tad familiar though.
Did Carlton Black do something along the lines, or possibly Guinness somewhere along the way?
Definitely a good drop though.
Nice. Apart from the fact the clocks actually go forward next week,
giving us an extra hour of daylight.
Maybe shelve it to next year when we change back to winter time?
Daylight savings begins Sunday 4th October.

Done
Coopers is like Pabst – best advertising is no advertising.
I like this but shape ads in this category are best left to Guiness.
Let the haters be haters. Clever and simple. Well done.
I don’t think it’s called hating when the feedback is constructive. The date’s wrong, our clocks actually go forward not back, and the idea to shoot an overhead glass of frothy dark ale made to look like a moon appears to have been done before. In the old days this sort of discussion was considered useful. It would also happen internally before the concept went live.

This ad ran some months back, when the clocks went back an hour.
The date is correct.
