David Flanners (1).jpgThe latest high profile appointment to join Cummins&Partners Sydney is former head of new release marketing for Paramount Home Media, David Flanagan in the role of group account director.

Flanagan has had strong experience both agency and client side with recent appointments including Sony, Paramount and GAD at BMF where he led the development of award winning work for Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and Dairy Farmers.

Says Chris Jeffares, CEO, Cummins&Partners: “David has built a reputation in the market as being both commercially focused and creatively minded. On top of that he’s one of the most liked and affable people in advertising.”

Says Flanagan: “Cummins&Partners represents exactly the place I want to work. They are taking a responsible attitude to creativity, and working successfully with some of Australia’s best and biggest brands. They are a ripping bunch of people and I look forward to building the business in Sydney.”

Flanagan’s hire follows the creative coup of luring Avish Gordhan and Mandie van der Merwe from Whybin/TBWA and also Georgia McLean who joined as account director from London-based agency FCB Inferno where she worked on BSkyB.

Cummins&Partners Sydney is continuing its rapid growth and still looking for more people to join its North Sydney tribe.

The appointment is effective immediately.
