Renowned Australian artist Anthony Lister launches new exhibition in LA via Sixty40

ListerxSixty40Invite2only.jpegWorld renowned Australian artist Anthony Lister is set to open his latest exhibition in Los Angeles today, Friday, September 11 at New Image Gallery in West Hollywood through Sixty40.

Lister bridges the divide between street and fine art and was described recently as one of Australia’s best and most collectible artists.

Lister and Sixty40’s founder Mark Simpson have been collaborating to produce animated interpretations and extrapolations of his recent work which will be screened alongside the paintings. We have also developed a custom VR Art Toy for use in the gallery and to take home using Google Cardboard viewers (some of which Lister has transformed into artworks themselves).

The opening will be a mix of installation, animation, performance art and high spirits and a show not to be missed.
