Justin Cox is joining Whybin\TBWA Sydney as its new head of account management and will also lead the agency’s Tourism New Zealand and Tabcorp relationships.

Cox is joining Whybin\TBWA after spending seven years at Clemenger BBDO Sydney where he led the Hungry Jack’s, William Hill and Keep Australia Beautiful businesses. He is a highly awarded account lead who during his time with Clemenger picked up many effectiveness, creative and digital awards, particularly for his work on the Hungry Jack’s, business. Before Clemenger BBDO Sydney, Cox spent four and half years in London at Ogilvy. There he helped to run the large car segment on Ford of Europe as well as running the business for SAB Miller brand, Pilsner Urquell. A New Zealander by birth, Cox started his career at Clemenger BBDO Wellington.

Says Paul Bradbury, CEO, Whybin\TBWA Australia and New Zealand: “Whybin\TBWA Sydney is in outstanding form at present and we look forward to Justin having a long leadership career with us to help pursue our vision – ‘To be the most culturally connected creative company in Australia’.”

Says Cox: “Whybin\TBWA is one of the most strategically awarded agencies in Australia with world class creative leadership and a client list that most agencies would kill for. I’m looking forward to making an impact within a business as recognised and as ambitious as this one and helping the leadership team bring the agency’s vision to life.”

Cox replaces Anna Hunt as head of account management who has recently left the agency after five years.

Says Bradbury: “Anna is an outstanding business leader I wish her all the very best in her new role at M&C Saatchi.”
