George Pappas and George Photios.jpgFollowing a period of sustained new business growth, digital marketing agency G Squared has added four to its team, as its two founders are recognised in the prestigious Anthill 30 Under 30 list.

The Sydney-based independent has picked up new clients including retailer Peter’s of Kensington and global commercial real estate group Colliers in addition to adding 11 other clients to its roster.

To manage the growth, G Squared has hired an additional four people across community management, design and strategy and has moved into larger offices in The Rocks. Its clients include Ray White, Mitsubishi Motors, My Baby Warehouse, Alcatel OneTouch and Monash University.

Coinciding with the new business and staff additions, founders George Pappas (above, left) and George Photios (above, right) have been recognised by Anthill as 30 Under 30 winners – which celebrates entrepreneurship among young Australians. The accolade follows the duo being named in B&T’s 30 Under 30 Awards earlier this year and they earned a finalist in the young achiever category at the Mumbrella Awards.

Says Photios: “As we approach our third year in business we have added bigger clients to our roster and attracted some great new talent to help manage the work. We’re incredibly excited for the next chapter and look forward to working with more innovative brands and people.”

Says Pappas: “It’s always an honour to be recognised by your peers and we’re delighted to have made Anthill’s 30 Under 30 up against a very tough field. We’re looking forward to expanding the business in the months to come.”

G Squared was founded almost three years ago by Pappas and Photios and has grown to a team of 12 people working across digital strategy, web design and development, community management and social media. It was the first Australian agency to offer an out of hours social media management service staffed out of its local office.
