Craigen got to meet both Corps and Shirlaw during his time in Sydney.

Says Craigen: “Daryl and Dave are two creatives who could have walked into any agency in town. They chose Innocean. Hiring these two is proof of our ambition for the agency. I can’t wait to see what they come up with.”

Corps has held head of art, craft and creative director roles at M&C Saatchi, Droga5 and

DDB, Sydney. Prior to that he held senior creative roles in London at AMV/BBDO, Lunar BBDO and Anomaly. Corps has been awarded at every major show winning Gold at Cannes and One Show and has appeared in the D&AD Annual 28 times.

Says King: “Every person I spoke to about Daryl said the same thing. He’s a magnificent art director and a great guy. That became evident upon meeting him and I’m extremely excited to be working with someone of Daryl’s calibre. He’ll make a real impact here.”

Says Corps: “The first time I met Dave I thought I want to work for this guy. He’s the nicest guy in the business and of course his work speaks for itself, it is world class. With Jeremy and Dave at the creative helm, it’s the most exciting time to be joining Innocean.”

Respected writer, Shirlaw also joins in a creative head role. Over his career, Shirlaw has held senior roles at DDB, BWM and M&C Saatchi.

Says King on Shirlaw’s appointment: “Dave is also one of the most respected and liked writers in Australasia. I worked with Dave at M&C Saatchi and know how good he is. He’s another awesome guy, so really happy to have him on board.”

Says Shirlaw: “I’m thrilled to be back working with Dave and Fitzy again. It really is a huge opportunity for all of us.”
