Pete Bosilkovski and Jason McLean - Leo Burnett Sydney and Canon (1).jpgCanon has officially announced the consolidation of its media business with Leo Burnett Sydney in a move that reflects client support for the power of the agency’s recently launched Connect Strategy model.

Leo Burnett, which already handled Canon’s creative and strategy, will now manage Canon’s media business under the Connect Strategy banner.

Says Jason McLean (near left), director – Canon Consumer Imaging at Canon Australia: “Leo Burnett has been our creative partner for many years now and this expansion into media strategy is an exciting new step. This new path is a testament to both the strength of our relationship, and our belief in the seamless Connect Strategy offering.”

Says Pete Bosilkovsk (far left), chief executive officer, Leo Burnett Sydney: “We are excited to be working on Canon’s media business – and to have the opportunity to do so under our Connect Strategy model.

“We believe in the power of Connect Strategy and the connected thinking it enables. It is gratifying that long-term clients like Canon recognise its value too and are joining us on this journey as we unlock solutions that connect people and brands in new and compelling ways.”

Launched last month, Connect Strategy is an integral extension of its successful specialist communications planning and content division, Leo Burnett Connect. Connect Strategy’s offering includes full service Media (buying and planning), Social, PR, Digital, Strategy, Shopper, Business Consultancy and Data.
