image004.jpgMTV has extended its partnership with Destination NSW, the lead government agency for the New South Wales (NSW) tourism and major events sector, to create #MTVTRIPPERS.

The campaign is designed to showcase Australia’s most populous State as an exciting, accessible and affordable destination for 16-34 year old travelers by leveraging MTV’s global reach.

The three part campaign features prominent influencers who share their NSW travel experiences live on their social media accounts, and concludes with two short episodes featured on mtv.com.au/trippers/tash-and-tyson as well as on-air across the MTV channels in Australia and New Zealand.

The first #MTVTRIPPERS web-series stars two of Australia’s biggest social media personalities, Natasha Oakley, (1.5M Instagram followers) best known for her ‘Bikini a Day’ blog and Tyson Mayr (54.6K Instagram followers) famous for his ‘Naked traveler’ blog. The pair embarks on a three-day road trip along the NSW South Coast. Featuring video content, live social media updates and an interactive website, the web-series showcases the diverse range of experiences NSW has to offer including swimming, sky diving, go karting, abseiling and more.

The campaign is supported by daily wrap-up editorial articles and image galleries, as well as an Instagram competition encouraging fans to post their own favourite NSW holiday photos using the hashtag #MTVTRIPPERS.

MTV in partnership with Destination NSW will continue to create two more #MTVTRIPPERS instalments, featuring new social media influencers, to be released later this year.
