OMD Sydney appoints Michael Pilz to lead strategy across blue-chip client Telstra

Michael Pilz_crop (1).jpgFollowing a series of key hires serving to reinforce the strength of its bolstered business management community; OMD has today announced that that it has attracted top industry specialist Michael Pilz (left) to the agency to lead the over-arching media strategy across its blue-chip client, Telstra.

Pilz, joins from his position as managing director of Symphony Analytics & Research (a division of Dentsu Aegis Network). With more than 20 years experience in media and marketing services, Pilz was responsible for the creation of Symphony Analytics & Research, as well as being instrumental in launching and integrating the MPG brand into Australia. He brings with him a wealth of experience across the industry, including 3 years leading the Optus SingTel account at MPG.

Pilz will be based in the OMD Sydney office, and his appointment is effective immediately.
