Buzz-logo (2).jpgThe ADMA 30Below Committee in QLD is organising its annual Buzz into the Boardroom event next month to give young marketers and creatives the chance to quiz senior marketing leaders about their careers and how they made it up the career ladder.

The event, held on Wednesday 14 October, 7.00pm-8.30pm at Cloudland, 641 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, is a follow on from successful Buzz into the Boardroom events held in Melbourne and Sydney earlier in the year.

Buzz events allow young marketers/advertisers to ‘speed network’, asking highly regarded senior marketers and advertisers about their career path. These range from burning questions like how they got their first break, how they managed office politics, and what kept them motivated throughout their 20s plus any advice they have for up-and-coming professionals.

Young marketers quiz each guru for 15 minutes before they are buzzed to move on to quiz the next marketing leader.

The Queensland Buzz into the Boardroom event features:

•    Vanessa Brennan, managing director, Clemenger BBBDO

•    Laura Campbell, chief information officer, Allianz

•    Mark James, chief executive officer, at GJI

•    Renee Davidson, head of marketing, RACQ

•    Bill McNamara, chief executive officer, Marketing Decisions,

•    Simon Hambleton, brand manager, Queen Fine Foods.

Date: Wednesday, 14 October

Time: 7.00pm-8.30pm

Place: Cloudland, 641 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley

Cost: $35 includes canapés and refreshments.

ADMA 30Below organises Buzz into the Boardroom events annually in five cities to allow young marketers the chance to quiz the industry’s leading lights while industry veterans get to talk about what they know and offer advice to future leaders.
