NEMES-pic.jpgARNOLD-pic.jpgBuzzFeed Australia is continuing to grow its commercial operations to help local and global marketers reach their target audiences with the hiring of David Nemes as director of brand strategy and Brad Arnold as manager of brand strategy.

Nemes (above left) will lead commercial operations for BuzzFeed Australia, responsible for partnering with clients and agencies to create compelling campaigns and help them engage with the 200M+ monthly visitors on BuzzFeed.

Arnold (above right) will develop and manage client-direct and agency partnerships. He’ll initially focus his efforts on market education sessions and understanding of BuzzFeed’s value proposition to advertisers.

Working with new and existing clients — like ATO, Presto, REA, Open Universities Australia, Microsoft, Google and Ford — the pair will continue expanding advertising opportunities in Australia.

Prior to BuzzFeed, Bondi-native Nemes was one of the first hires for LinkedIn in APAC. There, he helped establish LinkedIn’s presence in Australia & South East Asia. Nemes has more than 10 years of digital experience, where he’s focused on building teams, driving strategy and expanding businesses into new regions.

Arnold brings more than 10 years experience working within some of Australia’s top digital publishers, such as Real Estate, Telstra Ad Network/MCN and MTV. On the agency side, he’s worked for Universal McCann, Starcom and Carat.
