Clemenger BBDO Brisbane duo score Gold in Round 1 of Young Glory comp for ‘Project Rio’
Clemenger BBDO Brisbane duo Chris Connolly and Rosie Double have been award Gold in the first round of Young Glory – the 8 month long award competition that sees participants respond to 8 briefs from 8 different judges around the world.
Their idea ‘Project Rio‘ was submitted in response to a brief by Y&R Asia CCO Marcus Rebeschini that challenged entrants to stop their tap from running water when brushing their teeth.
Says Brendan Graham, Young Glory’s Australian co-founder: “Golds are rare in Young Glory. This one is even more notable because it was the only idea Marcus gave an award to, despite having over 300 entries to choose from. He was by far the toughest judge we’ve ever had.”
Young Glory runs from September to May every year. Submissions are currently open for Round 3, which is being judged by UM Australia CEO Ross Raeburn.

It’s a fantastic idea, but where would the athletes train in the lead up to their events?
Woo! Go Rosie Rosie!!!
This is awesome – good work Clems!
Strong idea but did it answer the brief?
“Most people get up only after their second alarm, and they’re groggy and not entirely awake when they stumble into the bathroom to brush their teeth. The challenge is to create a message that will remind them in this state to actually Close the Tap when brushing.
Top stuff
Nice, but did nobody notice the glaring spelling error on the first word of the video?
As well as others throughout the piece???
