Leo Burnett Melbourne leads Aussie agency pack at Epica Awards 2015 with 3 Silver and 1 Bronze

SPC FAMILY CANS PR IMAGES - LEO BURNETT MELBOURNE-thumb-400x283-181482.jpgWinners have been announced for this year’s Epica Awards. Australia has scored four Silver Awards and 2 Bronze. Leo Burnett Melbourne has led the Australian agency pack scoring three Silver and one Bronze and Leo Burnett Sydney scored one Silver and one Bronze.

Leo Burnett picked up a Silver in the Automobiles category for Honda Australia ‘Dream Run’. Its #MyFamilyCan campaign for SPC Ardmona picked up a Silver in Experiential & Shopper and a Silver in Online Campaigns Food & Drink. The agency also won a Bronze for Crikey ‘Set in Stone’ in the Public Relations category. Leo Burnett Sydney’s ‘Just’ work for WWF scored a Silver in Package Design and a Bronze in Branded Content & Entertainment.

A total of 585 agencies from 75 countries participated in this year’s Epica Awards. Germany, Canada, Turkey and the USA were well represented, along with Lebanon, Romania, Spain and Japan. New countries included Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Iran, Ivory Coast and Senegal.

BBDO won the Network of the Year title, scoring 43 awards including 11 Golds. Agency of the Year was adam&eveDDB with 14 awards including a Grand Prix and 4 Golds. The top country was the United Kingdom with 51 awards including a Grand Prix and 16 Golds.

A Digital Grand Prix were handed to J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam for ElaN, the Netherlands. “High School Girl?” by Watts of Tokyo for Shiseido, Japan won the Film Grand Prix. The Press Grand Prix went to adam&eveDDB for “John Lewis Southampton”. Demner, Merlicek & Bergman scored the Outdoor Grand Prix for Mini Austria “Mini Traffic Lights”.
