Hunt is a highly credentialed operator with a wealth of experience leading large and complex businesses, including a number in the financial services sector.

She comes to the role from five years at Whybin TBWA where, for the past three years, she ran the agency’s account service department and was lead on a suite of award winning clients including: David Jones, Tourism New Zealand, Chobani and Nabtrade.

Prior to that Hunt spent five years at Host where her clients included Air New Zealand, Virgin Mobile, Vodafone and BankWest.

The move is a return to familiar territory for Hunt who cut her teeth at M&C Saatchi as an Account Manager from 2003 to 2005 working across the IAG suite of insurance brands and the giant British Airways account.

Says M&C Saatchi managing partner Mim Haysom: “Anna’s talent and track record are second to none. She has built a formidable career leading some of Australia’s largest blue-chip brands across an array of sectors, which makes her perfect for this role.

“She has a brilliant business brain which fits well into our entrepreneurial ethos, and a fabulous energy I’m excited to bring into the team.”

Says Hunt: “M&C Saatchi is at the forefront of establishing a new world for marketing services across its diverse group of businesses. This is especially so on CommBank for which it has built the brilliant CAN brand platform, that is going from strength to strength. On top of helping lead the bank’s charge into innovation and new product development. I can’t wait to be a part of it all.”
