Mirvac_01_600x375.100927 (1).jpgChanging the way you view sustainability was the goal of Mirvac’s 2015 Sustainability Report titled Stories of Change. Designed and developed by Republic of Everyone in partnership with Mirvac, it sets the benchmark in Australia’s property industry with a new breed of report that increases engagement and usability whilst retaining all necessary information.

Already market leaders in the sustainability space, Mirvac’s hefty commitments to making their business practices better for the planet and the people on it required a report that clearly defined the progress and success of their mission.

Says Sue Lloyd-Hurwitz, Mirvac group CEO: “Taking a bold stance on sustainability has earned us genuine credibility as a thoughtful and thought-provoking leader in our industry.”

Moving away from a traditional reporting sphere, this sustainability report from Mirvac and Republic of Everyone uses a digital snapshot to engage the reader.

Says Eli Buxeda, lead designer, Republic of Everyone: “Breaking down the 100 or so pages of the full report into 44 individual stories, all with unique and interesting content was a great way to engage the user.”

It has made the best content easily accessible and the prominent use of video and infographic turns a comprehensive report into a form that anyone can easily digest.

To increase the engagement of the piece, an interactive element whereby users can generate their own strategy for sustainability was introduced. By making commitments to the same focus areas as Mirvac, consumers can relate to the organisations mission whilst positively contributing to the world around them.
