Editor Tom Eagles joins The Butchery
The Butchery has announced kiwi Tom Eagles has joined the editorial roster for projects in Melbourne and Sydney
Eagles has a long history of cutting high profile TVCs, film and TV. Notably the multi award winning Blazed commercial directed by Taika Waititi – one of the many projects they have collaborated on. Others include features What We Do in the Shadows (co-directed with Flight of the Conchords’ Jemaine Clement), and Hunt for the Wilderpeople which is premiering opening weekend at 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
Eagles’ strong body of work has screened at festivals worldwide including Sundance, Berlin and SXSW.
A level-headed and low-key collaborator with a good eye for structure and performance, Eagles’ got a great sense of humour and a better sense of rhythm… just don’t ask him to dance.
