The campaign was designed and implemented by Felix, Foxtel’s in-house creative agency and began airing on Sunday December 20.

The campaign comes as Australians have started to embrace on-demand streaming and illustrates the volume of amazing TV, movies and entertainment, along with the multiple ways to enjoy it, that Foxtel subscribers have access to as part of their Foxtel subscription.

While linear viewing continues to be a mainstay for many Foxtel subscribers, on-demand has become an increasingly popular way for customers to watch what they want, when they want.

The Anytime campaign reminds viewers that, as a Foxtel customer, the best entertainment is already available on-demand, right under their nose via Foxtel Anytime, which allows customers to stream complete seasons, on-demand, from their subscription package.

The integrated TV, print, online and social media campaign features a zombie from the internationally mega-popular TV series The Walking Dead; reality TV star Gina Liano from The Real Housewives of Melbourne; and an escaped prisoner from the iconic Australian TV series, Wentworth.

The motley group of TV personalities get more than up close and personal with potential TV viewers, confronting them face-to-face in a desperate attempt to get their attention, but for some reason, the viewers simply don’t see them.

The commercials finally resolve the confusion by showing the viewers happily enjoying the great shows, on demand, via Foxtel Anytime, featuring the respective TV characters, followed by a voice over announcing, “sometimes you don’t know what’s right under your nose. With Foxtel, you can stream shows from your package anytime, anywhere on your device.”

After an initial one week run of the first TV commercial, titled ‘Zombie’, Foxtel’s early online statistics indicate that consumer awareness in Foxtel’s Anytime service has already doubled.
