INK Digital Agency embroiled in a clash of the Christmases battle against UK studios

Clash of the Christmases.jpgINK Digital Agency has gone into crisis management mode after its Melbourne and Halifax, UK studios failed to unite over which country has the best Christmas traditions, leaving this year’s festivities in jeopardy.

When INK opened its first international studio in Melbourne earlier this year, the level of passion held over a beach versus snow-covered Christmas was, funnily enough, not factored into team bonding.

Helen Darlington, founder and head of creative strategy at INK has been understandably concerned over team relations.

Says Darlington: “Sunshine and a bbq or a cosy fire and a warm mince pie? Our Melbourne studio and Halifax guys and gals both believe their ideas of Christmas are better and we just can’t seem to agree. We’ve reached a stalemate and so we’ll just have to leave it up to the public to decide.”

The agency will now go on to launch Clash of the Christmases, a 10-day make or break social media campaign. Each day, two INK team members will state a case as to why their preferred Aussie or Brit Christmas custom is better than the other country’s equivalent. The public will be asked to take part in a daily vote to choose their favourite and the perfect INK Christmas will then be revealed in all its festive glory on Instagram on 18th December.

Make sure Christmas isn’t cancelled for INK this year by getting involved from 4th – 18th December at http://christmas.inkdigitalagency.com and on social media at facebook.com/INKDigital, twitter.com/INK_Digital and instagram.com/inkidigitalagency.
