Jemena_BrandMark_Positioning_RGB.pdf (1).jpgMajor Australian infrastructure company Jemena has appointed Initiative as its media communications agency following a competitive pitch process for its 2016-17 NSW Natural Gas marketing campaign.

Jemena owns and operates a diverse portfolio of energy and water transportation assets across the east coast of Australia. The company has more than $9 billion worth of major utility infrastructure and supplies millions of households and businesses with essential daily services.

An undisclosed number of media agencies, including Initiative as the incumbent, competed for the Jemena media assignment which covers all aspects of media research, planning and investment. Initiative was initially awarded the business in late 2013.

Says Danielle Beinart, commercial development manager, Jemena: “In our review process, there were a number of strong candidates, however Initiative showcased strong leadership in several areas including innovation and striving for excellence. We are looking forward to partnering with Initiative into the future.”
