Sandor Moldan.JPGRazorfish, part of the Publicis.Sapient platform, has promoted Sándor Moldán to the role of executive creative director of the Australian office, effective immediately.

Razorfish Global’s chief creative officer Daniel Bonner, who is in town to lead a new business opportunity for the agency, made the announcement of Moldán’s promotion to ECD upon his arrival in Sydney.

Says Bonner: “It’s testament to the depth of talent and loyalty that we cultivate at Razorfish that we’ve been able to fill this position internally. Sándor’s focus on the alchemy of creativity and technology to deliver true customer experience innovation for our clients is proven and a very valuable asset for our business moving forward.”

Bonner is in Sydney this week to help drive new business opportunities and meet local clients. He is extremely excited about what is coming in 2016 for the Razorfish Australia office on a creative and technology front, citing recent work (led by Moldán) for Qantas and new business wins such as P&O as a positive sign for the growth of the agency in the new year. In particular, work on a number of emerging technology projects such as wearables and connected retail experiences are poised to be game-changers in the market.

Says Doug Chapman, managing director, Razorfish Australia: “Sándor has always displayed the highest creative standards and has been involved in winning many new business pitches for the agency. He will lead the creative team for the Australian operation and will continue to work with the global team to drive innovation and digital transformation.

“We have a team of highly talented people here in Sydney and I am honoured to continue working with them in this new leadership role. 2016 is going to be a fun year. There are already awesome things happening for a number of our existing clients and I am looking forward to the opportunity to build relationships with new brands, both locally and globally.”

Prior to his appointment as ECD, Moldán served as creative director at Razorfish Australia, where he has worked since 2006. In his 15 years experience in the industry, he has worked on an extensive client list including Samsung, Qantas, eBay, Unilever, Pepsi and Microsoft.
