M&C Saatchi Sydney presented with the CLIO Awards Agency of the Year X Country gong

M&C Saatchi Sydney was awarded the CLIO Awards Agency of the Year X Country, which honours the most awarded agencies across the CLIO Award’s top 15 entrant countries.
Nicole Purcell, CLIO Awards president, flew in from New York to present the award to the whole M&C Saatchi creative team. She is front and center in the photo, along with Andy DiLallo, chief creative officer, M&C Saatchi Australia.

An award for winning awards, how ridiculous have we become?
Well done to M&C, it shows persistence, a good sales pitch, very patient production department/suppliers and hype reel editor.
How much of this work had gone on to generate a real (non-hype reel) improvement in business results (or shark attacks)?
Probably more of a grumpy statement about the broader state of the industry than M&C specifically, but interesting in the context of the Optus announcement.

Know what you are saying but the rules for every game keep changing (look at AFL!)and you just have to adapt.Agencies that are not adapting their playing style will lose.
I’d bet whatever category you work in is much the same.M&C Saatchi have been impressively chameleon -like over the years.
