Oh The Places Youll Go.jpgAs vigils mark the #LetThemStay movement across Australia, a creative studio from Sydney has launched an innovative online campaign pressuring the Turnbull government as it decides whether or not to send 37 babies back to offshore detention.

The illustrated poem imitates the style of Dr Seuss’ famous poem ‘Oh, The Place You’ll Go’ to pressure the Government to provide asylum for the babies and their families.

Agency, a non-profit creative studio that works solely on projects that strive for social good, launched the campaign after being moved by the plight of 267 asylum seekers who are set to return to Manus Island and Nauru after receiving urgent medical treatment in Australia.

Says Murray Bunton, executive director: “In moments like this we, as a nation, have to decide where we stand. We couldn’t sit back and watch as 37 babies, born under our care, and sent into harm’s way.

“Like many kids, we grew up reading Dr. Seuss’ work. That young and carefree style is such a powerful counterpoint to the oppressive and deleterious conditions of offshore detention for children.”

Agency is a creative studio with offices in Sydney and New York. Its client list includes organisations such as the United Nations, World Vision, and Amnesty International.

The #LetThemStay movement has seen community groups, churches, political groups and leaders from around Australia call on Prime Minister Turnbull to let these 37 babies stay in Australia.
