The Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards is now accepting nominations from Australia and New Zealand for the 2016 Chief Marketing Communications Officer (CMCO) of the Year award.

In keeping with the Tambuli’s vision to honor brands and organizations that do good and do well – showing the seamless integration of creativity and human good and results – the CMCO award gives recognition to the marketing head of a client organization that leads and inspires brands to help uplift society, create positive change, and deliver business objectives.

The CMCO award is given to the chief marketing officer that has demonstrated leadership in achieving marketing communication excellence and profitability for the organization, and one who has been actively engaged in the promotion of human good through marketing communications campaigns or programs.

In 2015 the award was given to the Senior Vice President and Communications Director of Nestle Philippines, Sandra Puno (pictured above left). In 2014, the CMCO recipient was Chloe Alsop (above right), the marketing head of Metro Trains Australia, responsible for the most awarded advertising campaign in advertising history, dubbed as “Dumb Ways to Die” in collaboration with McCann Melbourne.

The APAC Tambuli Awards Advisory board serves as jury for choosing the winner for this annual award. Visit here to download the nomination form. For inquiries, contact karla.pelayo@uap.asia. Deadline of entries and nominations is on March 28, 2016.
