Comedians Tim Batt + Guy Montgomery star in L&P’s latest brand campaign via Saatchis NZ
L&P has just released a new brand campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, which includes a weekly talk show on its social channels. Called “L&P Live”, it is hosted by New Zealand comedians Tim Batt and Guy Montgomery.
The completely unscripted show which is set a dairy, tackles burning issues such as “Vaguebooking”, whether it’s OK to film gigs with your phone, Air BnB protocols and whether New Zealand should allow snakes to be introduced.
Traditionally investing in a summer brand campaign, L&P is focusing on a socially led ‘always on’ strategy this year. The extended programming of comedy shows, (featured weekly on Facebook) are brought to you from locations where you’d expect to find L&P.
Says Angela Broad, senior brand manager, Coca Cola Amatil: “‘L&P Live’ is a great extension of our active and growing community on Facebook. Keeping in regular contact with our audience allows us to test and learn what resonates, taking in social feedback and applying that to new content as we make it.”
Batt and Montgomery are some of NZ’s finest young comedic talent, best known for their podcast “Worst idea of all time” that has become the most internationally successful podcast produced in NZ. In 2014 Montgomery was the winner of the prestigious Billy T Award. Batt has been recognised as a finalist twice in 2014 and 2015.
Episodes are released weekly on L&P’s Facebook page and YouTube and will also be available to view on WatchMe early March.
