envato_carter_pr_3 (1).jpgTo design a website looked at by millions of designers, creative and web professionals each year is a challenge to say the least. Industry professionals, as well as being aesthetically gifted, are all over the latest trends in design and interaction.

It’s a challenge that award-winning agency Carter Digital relished and, together with Envato, has created a new digital home for the the brand behind the popular creative marketplace at www.envato.com.

Founded in 2006, Envato is one of Australia’s biggest digital success stories, with over 6 million community members in over 200 countries. Creative sellers have over 9 million creative assets on Envato, used by everyone from corporates, to agencies, to small businesses and other start ups.

But Envato is known for its individual product marketplaces such as ‘Themeforest‘ and ‘Audio Jungle‘, rather than the brand itself. The new envato.com works as a platform to introduce all product offerings, but keep a core focus on the Envato story.

Particular focus was given to keeping the design simple, modern, and beautiful.

Says Ben Kushinsky, director of accounts, Carter Digital: “Carter is proud to have worked with a home grown Australian company that is making such an impact on the digital industry worldwide.”

Says Chris Thelwell, head of design, Envato: “Telling your own story is the hardest thing to do. You need to bring in fresh thinking to really get it right.

“It was great to have our awesome design team collaborating with the great talent in the Melbourne design community.”

Says Ben Chan, director of growth and revenue: “This new site will help people better navigate their way through our awesome creative community, and help them discover everything they need for their digital project. This also signals a new period of growth and momentum for us, and you’ll be seeing many more growth initiatives from us at Envato.”
