Omnicom Media Group appoints OMD’s Justine Thompson to the role of director of operations

Justine Thompson_2016.jpgOmnicom Media Group has announced that Justine Thompson has been appointed to the newly created role of director of operations.

Thompson; previously trading lead for OMD Sydney, has 20 years industry experience split across OMD UK and Australia.

Says Tony Harradine, chief investment officer Omnicom Media Group: “I am very excited by the opportunity of transitioning a media professional of Justine’s calibre and experience into a wider group role. In an increasingly complex industry, Justine’s new role will be central to ensuring that we continue to lead the market with best practice across systems, operations and investment accountability.”

Says Thompson: “I’m delighted to be working with Tony and the wider Omnicom Media Group team to ensure we deliver best in market practices and support for our agency pillars. I’m excited to continue working with people I respect immensely across the agency group, whilst also forging new relationships with those in the broader team.”

Thompson will be based in Sydney, and report into Harradine. The appointment is effective immediately.
