Sony Pictures Releasing appoints m2m Sydney

sonyangrybird1 (1).jpgm2m Sydney has today confirmed its appointment as media agency to Sony Pictures Releasing across Australia.

The news comes following the conclusion of an extensive competitive global pitch process conducted in the 2nd half of 2015; with Omnicom and IPG agencies now retained across the Sony Pictures account globally.

Since the reinvention of the m2m brand in late 2013, the business has undergone significant growth and award recognition. While m2m has been successful across a number of new business wins such as Hoyts, Beats by Dre and MachineZone, the Sony Pictures account is by far the largest new business win. Sony Pictures Releasing estimates its media spend for the next 12 months to be circa $15 million.

The appointment is effective from 1st April 2016.
