The event series was created in conjunction with Carat’s specialist sponsorship division, Carat Connect, and Seven West Media’s events and production team, Red Events & Red Engine.

Over the coming weeks, The MKR Holden Gourmet Road Trip will visit ten unique locations across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, giving fans the opportunity to taste some of the season’s most inspired meals and meet some of its most loved talent.

The first stop on The MKR Holden Gourmet Road Trip will be Brisbane, this Friday 19th February; fans have, however, already been teased with a taste of what’s to come via a custom brand TVC aired during this week’s episodes of My Kitchen Rules.

SaysGeraldine Davys, executive director of marketing and customer experience GM, Holden: “We know how much Australia loves My Kitchen Rules – it’s a fantastic series. Our focus with this partnership is really to give MKR fans more of the content and experiences they love, born out of our commitment to becoming Australia’s most customer-centric automotive brand.”

Says Natalie Kean, head of Carat Connect: “It’s rewarding to have facilitated this partnership between two of Australia’s most iconic brands, Holden and My Kitchen Rules. Our team is dedicated to finding new and unique ways to give Holden’s customers more of what they love.”

Says Lisa Squillace, sales director of sponsorships and multi channels, Seven Network: “We are extremely pleased that Holden has partnered with such a powerful asset as Australia’s biggest show, MKR. Not only are they integral part of the show and across all touch points, we are activating like we have never done before. Bringing MKR to the streets is something that will not only work well for both our brands, but also importantly give our viewers a taste of the show.”
