Finch director Alyssa McClelland’s ‘One Step Closer to Home’ series nominated at LA Web Fest
Finch director Alyssa McClelland’s series ‘One Step Closer to Home’, the satirical bite-size online soap opera about that awkward life stage between the fun of 20’s singledom and the settled domesticity of life with kids, has swept up nominations at LAWEBFEST.
The show, directed, co-written and starring McClelland has been nominated in Comedy for Outstanding Lead Actor for Ryan Johnson, Outstanding Lead Actress for Alyssa McClelland, Outstanding Cinematography for Jan Reichle and Outstanding Direction for Alyssa McClelland.
The festival is taking place on April 22nd-24th at Warner Bros. Studios in Hollywood and it is the oldest and largest webseries festival in the world.
Says McClelland: “It’s such a lovely thing for the series to be recognised in this way by LA WebFest. I can only imagine how Paulie and Nat Cat will feel about heading to Los Angeles for the screening… I’m pretty sure they have already bought tickets for the Superstar Celebrity Homes Bus Tour…”
