In her role, Haysom will oversee the operations of the group’s M&C Saatchi advertising agency and will report to group CEO, Jaimes Leggett. With nearly two decades experience, Haysom has managed some of the biggest brands both in Australia and globally.

Under her watch, Haysom has also championed the broader agency account management team at M&C Saatchi, one of the largest, most lauded and successful players in Australian adland.

Says Leggett: “Mim’s a gun. Her razor-sharp approach to strategy and creative, together with her experience, passion and commitment, amount to something special. She’s an instrumental part of our leadership team and a future star in the industry. She’s going to be a brilliant GM.”

Says Haysom: “I’m delighted to take on the role as the agency’s general manager. Our people are brilliant and we have an amazing group of clients. It’s exciting to have the opportunity to lead the agency into the future, and to continue working with such a strong and visionary leadership team.”

Prior to joining M&C Saatchi, Haysom held a regional group head role at Whybin\TBWA in Melbourne. She held group leadership responsibilities on ANZ across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Previous to Whybin, Haysom spent 10 years at Cummins&Partners working on a range of clients, including FMCG, pharmaceutical and retail brands in addition to new business development.

She has also held roles at Clemenger Harvie Edge and JWT where she worked on the Ford account.
