Nick Cleaver_303 MullenLowe.jpg303 MullenLowe has launched a public relations division and has been appointed to manage public relations for Harley-Davidson Australia and New Zealand following a competitive pitch.

Says Nick Cleaver (pictured), CEO, 303 MullenLowe: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with Harley-Davidson and build on the success of our work to-date. We’re also excited to officially announce the launch of our PR capabilities. At 303, we have always believed better client solutions emerge from a multidisciplinary agency environment, and our evolution into PR is a natural step for us.”

The appointment will build on the success of Harley-Davidson’s brand, social and content activations over the past year, including the recent #NiceToBeNaughty campaign by 303 MullenLowe, which achieved over one million views on Facebook alone following its launch on 7 December last year.

Says David Turney, head of advertising, promotions and PR, Harley-Davidson Australia & New Zealand: “Having worked with 303 MullenLowe for our creative, social media and media planning needs, their bundled offer is a great fit for Harley-Davidson.

“PR is a key part of our marketing mix and that has to be integrated strongly with digital, social and content creation. This is very much a philosophy shared by 303 MullenLowe, and that shone through in their pitch. We are excited to be expanding on our long-standing relationship with the passionate and creative team at 303 MullenLowe.”

The agency is now working with Harley-Davidson to generate stories and content that support the brand’s events, ambassadors and PR strategy. Importantly, 303 MullenLowe is also tasked with helping Harley-Davidson connect with younger audiences across mainstream and social channels.

303 MullenLowe is a fully integrated agency, which offers media strategy, planning and buying services alongside advertising, strategy, social, digital, data analytics and now PR.

Over the past 18 months, 303 MullenLowe has expanded its social media, content and media offering under the leadership of Brad Morris, managing partner for digital and innovation, and Gavin Gibson, managing partner media, who has significantly enhanced the agency’s data analytics capability.

The appointment to Harley-Davidson’s PR account continues a period of growth for 303 MullenLowe, which recently added Braintree and Cancer Institute NSW to its roster of clients.
